M. Brent Stevens   |   Chief Executive Officer

 

Mr. Stevens founded Peninsula Gaming, a casino and entertainment company, in 1999. Based in Dubuque, Iowa, Peninsula Gaming began as a modest riverboat operation and now is one of the fastest growing companies in the gaming industry with more than 2000 employees and $315 million in annual revenues.
 
A lifelong entrepreneur and financier, Mr. Stevens has spent his career driving the growth of the companies he oversees. Mr. Stevens received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and his BA in Accounting at University of Southern California. After graduating from USC, he worked at KPMG for three years where he earned his CPA.

Mr. Stevens remains very involved in the community particularly at the University of Southern California. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Leventhal School of Accounting at USC. In 2011 Mr. Stevens received USC’s Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Michael S. Luzich   |   President & Secretary

Mr. Luzich is our president and secretary and has been a manager of PGP since 1999. Mr. Luzich also oversees the construction division of the company. Mr. Luzich is the founder and president of the Cambridge Investment Group, LLC, an investment and development company located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prior to October 1995, Mr. Luzich was a founding partner and director of Fitzgeralds New York, Inc. and Fitzgeralds Arizona Management, Inc., which are development companies responsible for the Turning Stone Casino near Syracuse, New York for the Oneida Tribe, and the Cliff Castle Casino near Sedona, Arizona, for the Yavapai-Apache Tribe.
 

Jonathan Swain   |   Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Swain is our chief operating officer, an office he has held since 2004. In that position he oversees all operations of the company. Prior to joining Peninsula, Mr. Swain served from 2000 through July 2004 as vice president and general manager of Palace Station, Santa Fe Station, and Sunset Station, three properties of Station Casinos, Inc. In 1999 and 2000, Mr. Swain served as vice president and general manager of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. From 1995 through 1999, Mr. Swain worked for Aztar Resorts, Inc. serving as the corporate vice president of marketing and president of the Las Vegas Tropicana. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Swain served as vice president of marketing and as executive director of international marketing with the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
 

Natalie A. Schramm   |   Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Schramm is our chief financial officer, an office she has held since 1999. In that position she oversees all financial operations of the company. Ms. Schramm also served as general manager of Diamond Jo Dubuque from January 1, 2003 to May 1, 2007. Ms. Schramm joined our predecessor, Greater Dubuque Riverboat Entertainment Company, LLC, in 1996. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant.
